POTES A BEAUTIFUL VILLAGE IN PICOS DE EUROPA

Four valleys get together in Potes. It is situated in la Liebana area. It is in the southeast of Cantabria, next to El Principado de Asturias and the cities Palencia and León. We love going there at least twice a year mainly in October or November and in May or June.

Autumn there is gorgeous and spring time is lovely . I like the colours in the beech woods , oak trees, yews, birchs, chestnuts and the ferns .

It is such an incredibly beautiful landscape! We enjoy ourselves very much walking , taking photographs, listening to the small cascades which resound in every part of the park and eating, of course. The cheese, the Tresviso variety is simply delicious.
